Rain disappoints, what else is new?

World renown star Rain is performing all around Asia and is currently in Japan meeting large groups of horny fans.

However, news has just come in that Rain was supposed to have a performance in Shanghai on the 10th which was canceled. The reason this news is coming so late is because J-Tune Entertainment (Rain’s entertainment label) waited to release an official apology to the public until the 13th.

Newsen had a telephone interview with an official at J-Tune about the sudden cancellation:

“Time was imminently short and even the basic preparations were not ready. Due to these conditions we inevitably had to decide to cancel the performance. We see that this cancellation is a large inconvenience to Rain’s Chinese fans but the Asia tour is advancing and there will be many other opportunities to meet Rain.”

Of course news of this cancellation was already common knowledge leaving the Chinese fans pissed for three days.

What a terrible cover up. Everyone knows that the Asian tour is just a sexual odyssey for Rain so this is my simple yet totally full proof theory: Having already been in China for the 2008 Olympics, Rain quickly grew tired of all the Chinese girls asking for his sweet and sour sauce.

    I heard that too, which I think is dumb on his half because if it wasn’t for his fans he wouldn’t be doing what he’s doing right now. People person or not there are many stars who are extremely shy but they still go out their way to meet their fans. So if people bash Rain for that he deserves it.

    Maybe I’m being anal. Perhaps it’s the translation. But “meet Rain”?? Seeing his concert doesn’t quite cut it. It’s “see Rain”. Even fanmeets don’t allow one to “meet Rain”. Rain doesn’t like to meet his fans! He’s hardly a people person. Fans who follow him can attest to that. He only likes to see them from the stage.

    WTF was I late for this post? sigh! Anyway, I hope you guys won’t easily believe these blogs..you know, the likes of poopseoul..Geez did I just promote ‘em? It wasn’t Rain’s fault..It has something to do with the event organizers in China something..Gosh if only I understood korean..But then, the rough translation said about breach of contract on the part of the organizers who were to hold the concert..and it wasn’t HIS concert mind you! It was for charity..

    You guys are such haters on here. I almost forgot why i haven’t signed up yet. And the story is actually misleading. Rain didn’t cancel, the Chinese organizers did. It was a charity concert with other artists scheduled to attend. How could he cancel the entire thing?

    Do your research allkpop. Don’t start getting like popseoul.

    And more bad news for the haters, Speed Racer was named the no.9 best movie of 2008 by TIME magazine this week. Why didn’t allkpop do a story about actual news instead of this half assed garbage?

    I enjoy your blog, but this story is a bit misleading. According to Star Money Today:
    “According to the official notice by Jtune, China Shanghai Mouh Culture Entertainment contracted Jtune for the 10th’s 638,000,000 won concert, but the contract has been cancelled for non-performance (by the Chinese counterpart).”

    제이튠엔터테인먼트 공시에 따르면 제이튠은 중국 상해 모어문화전파 유한공사와 지난 10일 6억3800만원 상당의 공연 계약을 맺었으나 결제조건의 불이행을 사유로 해지했다.
