Another day, Another SNSD Delay

People waiting for Girls’ Generation / SNSD new album that was rumored to be released this month will have to wait some more. According to various sources on soshified (bug / soy), beautiful Sooyoung <3 confirmed this when she said the new album is coming out in early 2009 at the DokDoSarang concert. So why would the album be delayed again?

The main speculation on the reason for the delay being that SNSD wouldn’t be eligible for any of the awards of 2009 if they released the album now. In addition, some of the groups such as Big Bang will be taking a break during that time frame (smart strategy with less competition to deal with).

I hope that with their new album, they drop the cute candyland concept and adopt a sexy concept; where the girls wear skimpy outfits with very short mini skirts. It probably won’t happen, but one can hope.

    lol, SM is smart this time, by letting SNSD fail one more time and then disband them and gain their reputation back.
    SM is smart enough to not release an album at the start of the year, when all the award shows are already over. Releasing an album at the start of the year=====> it will be forgotten and not usually included in the nominees for the award shows that the end of the year.
    This might be one of SM way to disband SNSD :D
