While TVXQ / DBSK recently came back to the Korean market after a long stay in Japan, Big Bang will be doing the opposite by going to Japan this month.
ALLKPOP first reported about this in August and YG Entertainment has confirmed it. Big Bang will release their Japanese Album titled “Number 1″ on October 22nd. The new album is reported to have 12 tracks in total with 6 tracks being new unheard songs and 6 tracks being old songs.
YG Entertainment originally planned to have 3 concerts in Japan. The 3 concerts were scheduled for October 28th – Osaka, October 29th – Nagoya, and November 1st – Tokyo. However, because the tickets for the concerts were quickly sold out they added a fourth concert November 1st at 2pm, hours before the night concert at the same venue in Tokyo.
VIP’s in Korea shouldn’t worry too much though as Big Bang is also planning to release a new album in Korea sometime in November. Big Bang is doing Big things, they have a pretty hectic schedule this month – good luck guys.

With the way there hurrying to put out releases they won’t be delivering quality music.
Please, small venue in Japan? No way! There’s no such thing! =D [I'm not stupid I'm sure they have small concert halls.] A fourth day was added, it’s obvious they couldn’t add more seats to the BIG stadium (yeah maybe not the biggest stadium TVXQ had, but it’s pretty big).
People, it’s not BB’s decision to make in the first place. If their management wants them in Japan, then they have to go.
Just listened to ‘Number 1′ and it’s awesome! All this in such a short time, BB get some rest!
FYI, it’s not their first trip to Japan. Their first one was a big success, so I’m sure their second one will be even better.

But as one mention, they have to be appealing to japan music society or have something that really stand out. Something with originality and selling personality.
All korean artist (such as K, BoA and DBSK) go to japan as part of japan music society not riding on hallyu star. And it’s better if they can make collab with japanese hip hop or rnb artist. That will really help.
*deep down i really hope that the music industry in japan shape them into a better man, IDK but something annoy me about them just like before DBSK goes to japan. Korea seem to put them in such a high place (for a beginner).

you it’s weird because when they came out with the hiphop or whatever kind of music you want to call it, people said they weren’t going to make it and look at how big they are now! Japan is full of divserity with race, fashion, AND music so you can’t really say they aren’t going to do well. And it might not be a BIG the venues are but they are sold out and that means a lot, plus it’s what like three different places, it’s a big deal for these boys. AND STOP TRYING TO START SHIT UP WITH THE WHOLE SCARED OF DBSK CRAP. It’s stupid and annoying…

i dont want to be offensive but their music style is great in korea but not soo much in japan. when you go to japan as korean artists, you have to change for japan, not japan change for you. But wish them luck.
I don’t care were they move about in Asia as long as there are plenty of internet publications of them so that I can still see and hear about them often. @narae did you not read? Big Bang’s coming back on November, and they had plans to go to Japan way before DBSK’s comeback.
and @IWantThatDS, Ghostwriter did mention that BB’s concert tickets quickly sold out, so they’re doing pretty good.

i dont think they’ll do well there. if they plan to do hip hoppish music, then it might not do so good. personally, dbsk and super junior did well because their songs were more connected with j-rock, and that genre is HIGHLY appealing in japan.
