The cockhead, Jun Jin of Shinhwa was hit with some bad news recently as his Music Video for “Wa” was banned from all the major networks on Korean TV. The Korean Censorship Board said that the video had too much sexual content and restricted it to viewers ages 19 and up. The most popular station’s such as SBS, MBC, and KBS are banned from playing his video.
JF Story Entertainment said, “The banning of the video will put a hamper to our promotional plans. This was Jun Jin’s first album after more than 10 years in the business, and there was a lot of preparation and hard work for his debut. We tried to warn him about the sexual scenes and potential ramifications but he was so hard headed about the whole thing. He said that removing those scenes wouldn’t convey the song’s meaning properly.”
Even though he looks like a cheap imitation Jet Li stunt double, the poor guy didn’t deserve his video to be banned. I mean looking at the video, it seemed pretty tame, even for Korea’s standards. I think the Korean Censorship Board saw Jun Jin as an embarrassment to the Hallyu movement, with his no talent and less than stellar looks, that they made an excuse to get this guy taken off the air.

Why was this vid banned?? i don’t get it, i was waiting for the moment where they would take off their clothes nd do it in the bathroom or something!
No talent? are you serious!? Junjin is one of the best dancers in korea, what are you talking about? the song is catchy 2
wah that was kinda offesive reading that junjin is an embarrassment to the hallyu movement,no talent and less than stellar looks. i mean one of the reasons why i vote for shinhwa is because of junjin and you call him not good enough to be part of the hallyu, shinhwa in the first place is a hallyu group…that was super duper offensive.about the ban, i got over it already, its a blessing in disguise anyway because the more it is taken away from the public, the more people would want to watch it.
that was too bad for JJ’s management to drop him when he needs someone to side with him when there are suppose to help him get through all these.i saw one disturbing pic of junjin performing his song but whether its true or not,i do have an explanation with regards to it. come to think of it,if its true, that performance had a more reasonable basis of banning rather than his MV.
Don’t worry Junjin, your fans would always be here to support you.:)
EW him, but the girls are hot
too sexual?! are you kidding me? wow… -_-
no talent and less than stellar looks??
Junjin doesn’t deserve to have that kinda insult…poor him
He’s been working really hard and then hit with such bad news…and what’s wrong with the MV?
this is rediculous. ive seen more raunchy stuff on US mvs countless times. they didnt even kiss lol double whammy.
i bet after this censorship more people would watch this mv.
wow that video was really … bad. sex really didnt sell in this one sorry
it wasnt directed well either
Didn’t Danny Im’s (from 1Tym) first solo MV called “taboo” get banned on Korea’s t.v channels as well back in the day? I know that Korea is very conservative and all but seriously they need to some common sense to see this is very tame MV
even for a Mormon.
i actually like the song.
but i see no sexual scenes… okay, so they were all kissy-kissy… i see more “sexual scenes” at SCHOOL.
perhaps it is true as De La Methode said, “the Korean Censorship Board saw Jun Jin as an embarrassment to the Hallyu movement, with his no talent and less than stellar looks, that they made an excuse to get this guy taken off the air.” (i LOL-ed so hard… especially after seeing the video)
