Girls’ Generation Apologizes to Fans
Girls’ Generation aka SNSD recently put up an apologetic message to the fans on their official homepage. This coming shortly after all the drama that happened at the Dream Concert which was more of a nightmare for SNSD.
Here is a rough translation of the letter:
To all our fans who love us:
Hello fans, this message is from Girls’ Generation:
This will be the first time for us to put a message on our website, and we should’ve had it up sooner. Ever since our debut and for the past 10 months, we have been receiving a lot of support from our fans. We are enjoying our current success because of you. We’ve shared a lot of good memories that we can reminisce on. From our debut performance that we waited all our lives for. The first meeting with fans after our debut performance. When we reached our first #1 ranking, where we cried. Our “rookie artist award”, which was one of our goals we wanted to attain when we were just trainees. Into the new world, Kissing You, and Baby Baby. Despite all the hard work and hectic schedules, we were all happy.
We are grateful and would like to thank all our fans for all the happy memories you have provided us. The past 10 months were full of great memories. Unfortunately, there are also some memories that we regret. We are saddened, these regretful events was a learning experience for us and we’ve matured from it. Some of the regrets were our lack of proper respect, our inappropriate comments that have hurt people. We apologize to all those whom we offended, in the future we will be more aware of our behavior.
We thank everyone who were with us always. Those who loved, cared, and trusted in us. We cannot thank you enough, it was heartwarming to see all our fans who would wave the pink balloons no matter where we went. The only thing we can give in return is to work harder and sing with all our passion.
We are planning to show you the improved SNSD. We continue to train hard and improve ourselves.

I don’t understand why they’re apologizing in the first place. Korean celebrities need to grow some balls, although Hyo yeon already has a pair. Next time, they should tell the anti-fans to shove it up where the sun don’t shine. But I’ll gladly shove mine up where the sun don’t shine for these girls, except Hyo Yeon, SeoHyun (Chris Hansen alert), and also the one ugly girl who’s related to Lee Soo Man (whatever the hell her name is).

no one was hurt or stabbed or punched. the girl who broke her arm fell on her own accord, the whole thing was a rumour; unfortunately by the time people got that out, the rumour was already too widespread…, and that’s not even what the protest was about. It was about stupid boy band fan girls who don’t want their precious JJ and Micky touched by girls who work hard to entertain them, so they find every little thing SNSD slips up on and explodes it into a front page pile of cr*p. you know what… they’re the ones who should grow up and show some respect… those piece of …. fans they’re just stuck up little b*tches and drama queens, who cares if one of the dbsk or SS501 boys likes a snsd member what is wrong with that? get a life wdf. I know it’s business and all but this letter shouldn’t have even been necessary… dbsk SS501 and suju should have told their fans to calm their balls… immature brats.

Yoona is fly man, she doesn’t need to make up BS apology, she didn’ do anything wrong. Because of some stupid girls who support the boy idol bands (all of which look like girls themselves IMO and need to lift weights) go crazy and just CAN’T dare accept anything done to there precious man toys. They’re only apologizing for the money. Sadly, no one really likes them except for the fanboys. Their voices were great, but their personalities weren’t. as for you know most variety show scripted!!! i saw the making of Loveletter once in Thailand it’s BORING LIKE HELL!!!! WHY?? coz they’re kept not doing it like what’s written in the script even the dancing scripted!!! they took the dance part for almost 2hr so i just left

Of course it’s obvious that they were forced to do it. It’s the only way to, supposedly, calm down the commotions and such. They probably didn’t even know about the letter until it was posted, who knows.
To the people who want this group to disband. That is definitely not going to happen for a long time. Probably when their contract is up or whenever they feel like they should act, like half of the artists in that country.

no matter what kind of sincere/non sincere, long/short, whatever apology snsd gives, there will always be people picking out shit to slam the girls. it’s quite sad people can hate someone they don’t even know. fans are not angels either, cut the girls some slack. think about it this way, if people judged you the same way you’re judging celebs like snsd, you would probably end up depressed and hate the world. i actually think most celebs out there deserve respect because they take all the criticism and grow from it. if they can do that without going wacko on the fans, then why can’t antis move on? it’s just childish to linger on one subject over and over again with no good reason.
