Singer turned actor, Danny Ahn, member of GOD, was a special guest on MBC’s show “zippiziggi.” On the show, he revealed the hardships he endured in order to make his dreams of becoming a singer come true.
Ahn shared that he auditioned eight times, but each time he failed due to his lack of talent in singing. So, he decided to take a new route to stardom by rapping. And due to this change, Danny landed a record deal and became one of the rappers of GOD.
“Unlike other rappers in groups, they auditioned for that role,” Danny said. “I didn’t really have a choice… because I couldn’t sing.”
Although GOD has since broken up, Danny decided to further his career not as a singer, but as an actor. He will be acting in his first movie, “Going Crazy While Waiting (기다리다 미ì³Â).”
The “zippiziggi” episode will air on MBC on January 21.
