Taeyeon expressed her complaints about music shows.
On March 28, Super Junior's Eunhyuk and Donghae released the first episode of their YouTube series 'Hey, Come Here', and Taeyeon featured as their first guest. The Girls' Generation member revealed she didn't promote her recent single "To. X" on music shows, and she opened up about her frank thoughts on music shows, stating, "I don't like the music show system. It's not that I don't understand, but I don't think it's considerate to have us sing at dawn. There are things I can't help."
Eunhyuk responded, "There are production costs, and the environment is so that a lot of singers have to pre-record. There's nothing that can be done." Taeyeon then said, "In conclusion, it's disappointing that we can't show better performances. I had the thought that I should show different content that's better."

And this is just a tip of the iceberg! Probably the smallest problem with Music Shows. Kpop fans who don't know anything about vocals, and why is it so hard to sing LIVE, especially if you do it early morning, never going to understand why senior artist don't want to perform at Music Shows. Your vocal cords need time to heal, and without proper preparation, you can ruin your entire career. That's why most Idols don't sing live on Music Shows. And we didn't mention the ridiculous system behind these shows.
